I took my car in for a check engine light. They fixed it by installing the newest flash (I hope they fixed it at least). Now, my lights don't flash when I lock or unlock the car, any idea how to fix this?

 

Check and make sure your trunk is fully latched.

 

hmm..checked that seems to be fine.

 

Check the trunk, check the hood, check the doors, then if all those are closed tight, take the car to the dealer for diagnosis. Something is not closed tight.

 

Now I find out that my car charger isn't getting enough juice to work either. The light on the charger is real dim when I plug it into the cig lighter, then it fades off when I plug the other end into my phone. I'd imagine it's part of the same problem as the lights. What the hell did they do to my car?

 

That's odd if all they did was flash it. Perhaps your battery connection isn't very tight.

 

time to go get a loaner...
