leds pulsating to music???
so i have just installed a 10''sub to the console between the back two seats and have an led strip all around it. anybody know how to wire this 12v led strip to the beat of the music??
what ive found on google so far is only how to do it with a computer speaker.
there should be a way to wire it to the audio output on the amp, but im afraid with all that power it will burn it... any ideas, im sure you know waht im talking about some speaker enclosures have neons in it already that pulsate.. (same concept)
thanx in advance

It's a Cavalier
Although I think that messing around the electronics is intellectually stimulating, and I'm sure it looks cool, but, dude, that is total rice. Rice, rice, and more rice. Did I mention rice? It's rice. Hello rice. Capital "R" i c e.
Rice.
Rice.

its as easy as plugging in the led wires to the positive and negative of the sub, it basically uses the same electricity that creates the sound so as the sub gets power the light does exactly the same with the same voltage..

Thats pretty cool. So the sub powers the LED's directly? I'd love to see the how-to you used for this. Gives me some rice-tastic ideas of my own. The hater's will be all over this idea.

I dont think thats a good idea, I used to have a neon back there and even that was distracting at night; I couldnt imagine if it was pulsating!!!
My vote is just no.
