Hey rx8club!
I've been trying to find a simple mod to do to my 8 and decided on the LED brake light. Any recommendations on which ones on ebay are good quality? Is it easy to install? I'm not too good at electrical stuff but can do simple wirings and such. Sorry if its been asked before, I really tried the search function and it led me to the group buys. Thanks in advance!

First off................use this Search rx8club via Google or use your manual for the car to find out which bulbs since you didn't really specify which brake lights your talking about replacing.
Then I wouldn't screw around with ebay LED's but it's up to you. I would go directly to VLEDs, which you will find a whole bunch of us use. http://www.v-leds.com/

As for ease? Well, if you get the right ones, then yes it's easy as plugging in with the exception of the third brake light(the high mounted one), but it's fairly easy as well. If doing the third brake light, then you need to be a little careful as some people need the load resistor there and some don't. If you need one you will know because your ABS/TCS light will come on after putting an LED in that location.

When using search on this site, use advance search or as another example........go to google and type in "rx8club third brake light" and watch what happens.

Ah i realize what i wrote wrong. lol I meant the led 3rd brake light. Dang made myself sound like a noob even though i've been on the forums for a while.
