I just recently purchased a new 2004 rx8. I am very pleased with the car so far. I was black interior and a red exterior. I have black cloth seats in the car. I am happy with the cloth but I have always wanted leather. I was looking into getting some leather seat covers to fit the factroy bucket seats, but I am also wanting to avoid some expense. Can anyone help me?

Make sure what you get doesn't cover the sides of the seat where the air bags are.

my friend does custom leather seats. he takes your seats and removes the cloth and puts leather on it. do you live in ny, nj or pa

 

Custom leather jobs are about $1200 for them to do the door panels and front and back seats + the leather is higher quality than the OEM stuff. Try www.autoleathers.com, www.classicsofttrim.com, or www.katzkin.com. I believe autoleathers and Katkin are one in the same--I used Katzkin leather in mine.
