I just wanted something different and reasonably priced. I received much more than that, the customer service is why I made the purchase. I wanted a 3” 200 cell catalyst with a muffler/resonator, the website only showed either or so I emailed the address provided on the website. I received a follow up email the same day and they told me they would talk to the technician that welds to see if it could be done. They sent me a link for payment for the additional cost to have it done and I received it the following week due to them making it on the spot.

This part bolted right up to my stock header and I have an hks hi power single cat back. The flanges are 2 1/2” but welded perfectly and for anyone that wanted to make it a true 3” at the rear flange I’m sure you could request it or just dermal the flange yourself. I didn’t have the same thread pitch for my bolts with the springs at the rear flange so I just drilled them out the next size up. I would definitely buy from them again just based off of their quick follow up and execution to get the order out. It definitely toned my cat back down at cruising also, before this I had a single resonated 2 1/2 pipe.

 

I've heard good things about LAR and plan to order from them soon. Products look solid.

 

Not sure where you are located, but do you have to pass emissions? If so, did it pass, and was it an IM 240 test?

I live in NY and yes this setup with the cat they supply does pass inspection, no check engine light.

 

Based on cost alone, I might wanna do this over the magnaflow... Which is over a month out.
