Yesterday morning I went out to my rx-8 as a usual day, but my keyless pad did not work. After work I went and bought a new battery and still nothing. I was wondering if there is a way to sync the keypad to the car after replacing the battery or would it still be under warranty with the car? I'm pissed because those keys & keypads aren't cheap... any help is appreciated

So does just the keypad not work or does your car not lock at all?

 

it was my key FOB to lock and unlock my 2004 rx8. I went to the dealership and they ordered me a new one for free, so everything is cool.
