Just to follow up on my real short rang keyless entry problem...
I've found out that my shielded 4channel wires from the LOC, which was installed right in front of the keyless reciever (right behind the glove compartment), was the reason that it had such a short range. Didnt really think those wires had such a powerful anti radiowave shield. After i relocated the LOC and wires behind the ashtry, I can lock and unlock my car like before.

I have the same problem, but it's worse now.
When i'm in the car, with the key, the light 'KEY' on the dashboard lights up which means that the key is not detected right? but the engine can still start up =S
And also, the buttons on the outside door handle don't respond at all anymore and neither duz the button to open the trunk (near the license plate area)
Is there some sort of reason for this? will I have to go to the dealer to replace my remote?

If the 'KEY' light is red, that means its not detected. If the light is green, the sensors inside the car are picking it up.
