I could care less if K&N makes Rx-8 filters or not, they are overpriced and they don't add "20hp" like advertisers say, i wouldn't buy one even if they did make one.

johnny: amen.

I'd never waste my money on a stock air filter replacement. I would, however, buy a K&N if it came off a 3" tube straight from the intake (oh wait, I've already done that...on my Impreza )

but somewhere out there, is a guy, with a low budget and a need for speed...and the feeling like your buying speed is almost as good.
