Smile Just saw the RX-8 today at lunch!!

Hello everyone. This is my first time to your board. Today at lunch I saw a silver 350z stopped at a light. Behind it was a heavily disguised car. As soon as I saw the taillights I knew it was a RX-8. It looked Good! I could see the suicide doors and the front side scoops. It's going to be a great looking car. I'm going to try to take some spy pics. If I get any, I will post them.

You lucky ______ ! :D
Funny that the two cars that everyone is comparing (even though its a strange comparison IMHO) were at a light together.

I'm sure the Z was owned by

Mazda. They were turning into the Mazda building. I was looking at the picture page on this site. It had some spy pictures taking from the same spot that I saw the car. (Orange County) Only the one in the pictures was silver, the one I saw was white.

Good

Since Mazda may (probably) will price the RX-8 under and up to the price of the 350Z, the performance better match (or be close)

I hope that the gearing is nice and short
1,2,3,4,5,6
4,7,10,13,16,19 mph per 1000 revs

Less weight, better weight distribution, better traction at lauch--TorSen

Zoom,zoom zoom. oh no!

Really...

Was it a pure white, or more of a pearlescent kind of thing?

I wonder if it was that "frankenstein" non-styling test mule car that was shown at Sevenstock, or if there is a new test car...

P.S. I feel like I'm a part of a group that follows UFO (Unidentified Fast Object) sightings...
