Installed my RP short throw shifter on Thursday. I put it in last night. The thows are so much shorter and a lot easier to downshift. Reverse is so much easier. I used to have a problem with getting it into reverse and would be such a pita. I took it for a spirited spin when I got it in and the gears are much more responsive. I boke the first tab on the shifter cover trying to remove it. It took about 20 minutes of calling it every name in the book before itjust snapped. It would not budge at all. The shifter is 100% plus better than stock. Thanks RP.

 

I hate that tab; I broke mine first time around installing an AudioLink. Apparently you're supposed to remove the little "panel" against the lid (towards the bottom), and pry it away with a screwdriver to keep it from breaking. Oh well; too late for that! I hope to get the short shifter when I've saved up enough; I'm hearing so much hype about it that I need to try it myself!
