Just making sure.

Just making sure, but if my 8 is still under warranty, and the driver side tail fogs up, if I took it in for warranty work, would an aftermarket intake void it? I know it has nothing to do with the driver side tail light but just making sure you know? :P Thanks!

The cause of the water in your tail light is not due to the aftermarket intake.

Ohh I know, but if they inspect my car and see it, will they refuse to do the warranty work? :P

Depends on your dealer, past posts have indicated that any mods will void warranty no matter what you want fixed.

If you under 50,000 miles and under the years of ownership, then take it in. They will replace it under warranty.

You could allways slap the old intake on to be safe. If you have it.

Go to this dealer, if you get rejected just throw on the stocker and go to another dealer.

yeah def depends on the dealer but would not hurt to put stock back on unless it's MS intake then they can't do anything

ok,

but that is not the mazda warranty the everyone else gets.

right now for the 04 to 06 i believe it is:

12 month 12 k miles on wear items
3 36 on bumper to bumper
5 60 powertrain
8 100 on engine core.
