Hey everyone!

I recently just purchased a 2004 Rx8 GT. I was wondering if I could get some advice on what to do when it arrives (it is being shipped here in 2 days). I have been doing a lot of research on the car and was hoping to get some advice from experienced owners.

There is a huge amount of information here, but I've got to agree with Monchie that it's almost too much. Hard to wade through it all, and separate the stuff that was relevant when RX-8s were all new vs stuff relevant for seven year old ones like yours.

The best place to start is with RIWWP's sticky thread "New and potential owners start here" near the top of this forum. That's pretty recent, and addresses important details that have emerged as 8s have been on the road for longer times.

If you like to work on cars yourself, browse through the DIY section.

The sticky thread "The little things" is great to help you find a lot of cool details.

Thanks Ken for the info. I will definitely check out those posts. And, once it arrives, I will definitely post some pictures.
Yiksing: No, I have not driven the one I bought, but have driven one before. The one I purchased was in better shape too.
