Just got my RX
Ok so I broke down and bought an RX8 today. Well.... I bought it used though.
It is a 2004 and has a Grand Touring package, in Velocity Red. I got lucky and found one with only 14,000 miles on it.
Being a rotary noob, I'm gonna need some help here. Are there any mods that you guys would recommend to do first?
I came from a WRX forum, where I had tremendous help with my Suby, and I hope it'll be the same here.

I highly suggest you get the Supercat from rx7.com. It's a 3in midpipe with a high flow cat.
I would recommend that you have a resonator welded into it though, as it can get a bit raspy once broken in.
Add a nice exhaust and the car will sound great! Not too much extra power, but the car will feel better overall.
Racing beat makes a nice intake set-up as well.
Good luck with the car, they are fantastic.

Welcome I myself am making the transition from a wrx to the rx8. Although I pick mine up this tuesday I have found lots of good info on this forum the last couple days. It seems like most questions have been answered so don't be scared to search for them

I don't mind doing the whole "searching" thing, cause I know it can be very VERY repetitious with everyone asking the same questions. But at the same token, there are always newer and better options and alternatives to some of the more frequently asked questions, so I kinda like to have a more updated answer.
