I have the MS duel canister exhaust too. Take it through a tunnel and have your windows down, you'll love how it sounds at high rpm going thru the tunnel.

Had some ricer roll up on me the other day. He reved a few times and when I didn't do anything he and his buddy started laughing. Right before the light turned green I rev'd to 9k and the looks on their faces was priceless.

Mixture of the MS exhaust and MS CAI is music to the ears.

Question:

If you don't install it yourself, what is the average price for this 15 min. job? Dealer vs. private? Would be good to know for future mods...

Ya i have the same set up. MS Exhaust and CAI. I love the way it sounds. Its quiet when i want it to be and loud when i want it to be.

I actually had my exhaust on 2 days before i had my CAI installed so i got to hear the difference. There isnt a huge difference in sound between the exhaust alone and just the intake... But it does sound fantastic.

shop don't do 15 min job. usually min is 30 mins, even take less than 30 min they will have a minimum charge of 30 min or 1 hour.

there isnt a huge difference inside the cabin, unless you're listening for it.

I had the exhaust on for over a month before the CAI. The difference from outside the car is very very very noticeble.

lol Stig... Dick get's loudest with his K&N.. i'll take second prize

The MS is a great setup I had one myself for about 6 months but it proved a little to loud for me so I switched to the RB system.

I still miss the MS at times and that great sound.

Here is my write up on both systems.

if you going to get a catback. Its not that hard to install you should be able to do it yourself. Id just take it to yout local mech and have them throw it on, They shouldnt charge you much
