Just got my 8
Own an '84 RX7 GSL-SE. Been following the RX8 since before production. I don't know how many times I did the 'Build It' on mazda.com. I finally took the plunge and bought a 2004 Grand Touring RX8 velocity red with the nav. Have had the car for about a month but haven't been able to drive it much due to the New England weather.
The only thing better than driving the car is washing and waxing it.
Can't wait for spring!

This sounds exactly like me... with the same resut: Me: '04, velocity red, GT, Nav, red/black.....
Where in the Boston Area are you? (I'm in Newton)

I bought it for grins, and I get at least 52gpm (grins per mile), highway OR city! :D

Congrats, Nut! It's about damn time! You've been around here so long, I was sure you already had one! Now if you can just try to maintain self-control during the break-in period, the God of Good Gas Mileage will smile upon you!
