Ya I've had a few incidents with minor damage like that and never because of snow. This is my 3rd winter in the car, this year I'm on the stock 18's (getting new wheels in the spring) with Dunlop Winter Sport M3's and they are amazing. Previous years I used 17's with Blizzaks till one of the 17's broke apart on me (that's what I get for $300 set of wheels on ebay lol).
