Talking Just bought an RX-8! A question about Sirius.

HI GUYS!

I just bought a 2005 GT, 6 speed Titanium gorgeous RX-8! 4K miles, sport package, appearance package, chrome accents, extended warranty, lojack, I think it's loaded!

Could you help me out with the Sirius satellite situation? I had Sirius in my old car, and my new RX-8 has a SAT button. I know I need to have some kind of kit installed, but my question is, what does the display look like? Where does it display the satellite info like artist/song name?

Also: How can I tell if I have the 9 speaker Bose system? And, would you recommend installing an amp or not?

I'm sure I'll have a ton more questions, thanks for your help! I LOVE this car, I'd rather have an RX-8 than a Porsche!

The display is right where the radio info is. The info toggles with the the DISP button. And if the info is too long you scroll with the TEXT/AUDIO CONT ****.

Check owners manual pg. 6-18. The differences in display when you access the audio control dial will tell you what system you have.

EDIT: Sport pkg has standard audio. Touring pkg has BOSE system.

Congrats on the new ride.
