Welcome - You will love it.

RX8 club is a great forum to give tips on your new car.

Look for the many posts for new owners! You probably already know this - but the car is a demanding lover, but she pays it back in smiles.

Way overkill, especially if you use decent gas. Not only that, but one could easily argue that those chemicals can actually cause damage to components such as the O2 sensor, seals in the fuel delivery system, etc.

one could argue but I dont believe there is any actual evidence to such a thing.

I agree if you use good gas you should never have any problems with engine performance or the injectors. All you have to do is get it over 5K which is when the additional injectors will kick in (feels like a 2 stroke power ban if you have ever driven a 2 stroke motorbike) to get the junk off them if there is any. Personally I only fill up at Phillips 66 because their premium gas is 93 with no ethanol. Also just make sure you watch the oil every other fill up and keep it topped off.

and last enjoy the car rev it in the corners that what its built for.
