Fiancee and I took a road trip to Houston and stopped at gas station on the way - came out to see this woman coming in after looking at the 8 and yelling "It's a Mazda!" to a rather unsavory hillbilly... was rather amusing after getting the car safely away.

Yeah - it was odd... normally I see 3-4 8's per day in the Dallas area... on that trip we only saw two total, and only in the outskirts of the large cities...

Try driving that long stretch between El Paso and Dallas. Unless you get out to look at your car, you will NOT see an 8 on the road.
