I love not having car payments, that frees up another $600 or so a month to go into the house fund

A good way to not having car payments is to pay cash :D
That's what I did, anyway.

Must be an incredible feeling! So, would you mind sharing how long it took to pay it off?

Took me a year and around 4 months to pay off that bad boy. Thanks phee, this is the second car note that I paid off early. Gotta boost that credit rating for the next biggie.

^^^ shouldn't that read "that fees up another $600 or so a month to go into my track fund"?

So what's next? Rollbar, Racing Seats and 5-point harnesses? Or BBK?

I was actually thinking about racing seats. But I have no idea where I would mount a bar for harnesses.

Man, I finally was in the position where I had all three vehicles paid off, titles in hand when the Celica got wrecked, now I'm back to having a car paymeny. Oh well, the 8 is worth it, and I plan to have it paid off in a year anyways. This does delay my next motorcycle purchase though.

I was also thinking about buying a bike, but I would rather do track time or house money. I have my car to the point where i need to improve my driving skill
