But my lease is coming to an end - and after having completely enjoyed finally owning a sports car, I'm taking care of another "wish" on my bucket list and getting a convertible.
Going with an Infiniti G37 Sports Coupe with 6 speed manual in graphite platinum.
I will sure miss throwing my little white RX8 around corners, but decided a little luxury can't be bad, right?
I fully intend on buying a used RX8 for fun-and-games purposes sometime down the road, though. It sure is an addictive driver! Nothing like it.

I disagree with Razz1. Of all the cars I ever owned I think I'm most emotionaly attached to my old 1987 Saab 900 convertible. It was a horrible mess of mechanicals and the hydraulic roof always gave me troubles and it seemed that if I went into a store for second with the roof down it would rain!
I vow to have another convertible in my life as long as I stay good lookin'. If you're fat and ugly get hardcore and stick with the stiffer structure of a coupe! LOL

My FIL has a BMW 335i convertible and it doesn't have those issues. In every comparison I've seen, the G37 stacks up equal or better than the 335i.
We shall see!

I found the G37 to be frenetic at best, and have loads of understeer unless you really lay the gas on... Trunk is pretty pathetic for its size too...
I'd get an old RX or Miata for fun and a Lexus for the day to day drudgery. Lexus may be boring, but it is the best customer service I've ever experienced...

But the SC430 is butt ugly when the top is up and the rear end is ugly. That car was a horrible replacement for the previous SC coupe.
New G37 convertible is nice. I hear all that extra weight has dulled it a bit though. I would have got used Miata and a used hardtop G37.
