As soon as the winds die down here some more, I should have some good pictures of my RX-8 out at White Sands.

I was going to take the car into the dealer tomorrow to fix the check engine light since it came on due to a oil refill issue I posted in an earlier thread. I got into the car today and the check engine light is now off. So either there is something wrong with my computer, or the computer kept checking the condition and now that it is clear, has turned off the light.

I spoke to the service department also about the sound while the engine is idleing in neutral. He said at least 3 people have brought thier cars in and in all cases, the manufacture has said that there are no problems with the parts. So they have stopped replacing that particular part unless the sound it makes gets worse.

I am about to do a 300+ mile drive in the car tonight from Alamogordo NM to Tucson AZ. I will be checking the MPG while going there since I will fill up right before we leave and then again in Lordsberg NM. I will try to average about 90mph so everyone cross thier fingers that the Cobra 9120 detector does better than average for me.
