The labor is what cost a lot of money, but the guy who is doing it is really good, I have seen his work before, and he said that he could blend the paint perfectly and I know he can, and since insurance is paying I want it done right.

 

What you need is to get a hold of some rock salt shotgun shells and wait for them to come back next time. Kids are idiots-they will come back to the scene and try it again if they weren't caught the first time.......

actually doesnt sound bad -- back in 1995 when I had JUST BOUGHT (not even made 1st pymt) on my new TOYOTA SUPRA my (now ex) husband wrecked it in the front (looked much like this except it did across the front (TWO projection beam headlights at $900 EACH, plus hood and front bumper and labor) and 10 years ago the total was over $9 grand for it but it looked absolutely perfect when done -- killer was that it took 6 months to get all the parts in from Japan on a barge (talk about a slow boat from China?)

good luck -- if the body shop is that good it will be all right and no one will ever know.

ps. be sure to get money back from insurance on your diminished value of the car.

I agree with some others that the perps should be buried in sand up to their necks - but with a twist. It should be as in some of the old westerns where they are buried just two feet east of a big red ant hill!!

I wouldn’t feel bad for who ever did this to my car at all!!! They deserve what they have coming for them!!!

 

Maybe they should be buried in the sand to their ankles until the soles of their feet get sunburn.

It's bad enough that we have to be careful of the idiots who are driving, its pretty sad when we have to worry about them when their walking around.

I'm really sorry this happened but I am sure it will come out looking great when it comes back from the shop.
