I'm new and in RX8 heaven...
Wow! I just found this place and think I died and went to rotary heaven. I've been on here pretty much non stop since last night reading and looking and reading and looking some more. I really really want to do the Gap but maybe next year I can make the plans and do it. Anyway, I've got an 06 Shinka Copper Red in color and absolutely positively love it. Just wanted to say hey to everyone out there and hope this is the beginning of something amazing!

Welcome to the site. When I got my car (6/30/04), I read everything I could for a month and a half before I even got a login. At that point, more forums were available and I read more. I think I had 3 posts in the first 3 months after I got my login.

Ok Ok..I get it, pics of me and the car to prove that I'm really real right? Gonna take more than this to scare me away I'm fearless...and the redline a day, not an issue for this girl. The dealer told me to drive it enthusiastically and I do that every chance I get! Pics to follow tonite maybe~
congrats and welcome to the club. Ignore the leg humpers, they normally get into high school mode whenever a new girl with an rx8 comes into the club.
Make sometime to go to local meets, you can learn a lot from others quicker than reading tons of threads =P

I am in Northwest Ohio...I have never even heard of any RX8 groups/clubs around here. I was excited to see the Deals Gap gathering although I can't do it this year...hopefully next year. What a great trip that'd be. My son has done it on sport bikes, would love to take the 8 thru the twisties!
