If you had $400 that could only be spent on your RX-8

I am not asking because I have $400 I just thought about a lot of the items that could be modded on the 8 and $400 didn't seem like a 1 shot mod price range. It seems to me you can either buy a lot of little things and that's about it. I was trying to think of any body kits that would fit in that range.. but damn even the MazdaSpeed mirrors are $500... :/

The truth is My wife was kind enough to pre-approve me for $1000 for a set of new tires.. but rather then get 4x Mich PS2's I decided on 2x Potenza S-03's for $480 installed...
Which leaves me $520. Now...
1. I can be the responsible husband and not spend the money and pay bills.
2. Be irresponsible like I normally and and blow the money then ask for forgiveness.
3. Buy her something nice and save the majority of it for the next forgiveness session.
The truth of it is, I plan to
1. Tint my windows.
2. Try and find a front bumber that I like so far I like the FEED look the best but I haven't seen any good straight on views of it, and then I would have to get it painted too.
3. Clear side markers
4. Strakes
These of course are all appearance only things because I know so very little about cars. I am truly a motorcycle guy and have been since forever. The issue comes up that now I am getting older have a family and time is a precious commodity that I like to spend with my wife and kid, which can't be done on my 750...
I really want to try and get perfomance things for my car first and foremost but all these appearance changes keep depleting my wallet and the research for car stuff gives me a headache.
I haven't made any mods to my car period as of this point. :/
I wish I had the time to sift through all these forums and learn as much as I could but I really don't have that time. What I need is a good thread that outlines all the performance mods available and brief descriptions on why one would even bother... Maybe $400 would buy me a consultant.

Get yourself a good radar detector like the Escort Passport 8500 x50 or the Valen
tine 1. It's the gift that keeps on giving! You'll get an excellent return on your investment as it will save you money and points in the long run (don't do anything stupid though!). It might not add horsepower, but it will certainly make driving your 8 a lot more fun.

Radar detectors are illegal in my state... Until I get rid of the 2 wreckless on my record I don't think I will be tempted to gun it on the street. I will keep it to my backwoods neighborhood where the neighbors join me...

Caliper Paint, Rotary Accents, Oil Cooler and Air Conditioner Screens. Polak emblems, and a Coke to go with the smile you'll have when you are done.
By the way....I just bought all this for my own 8 this week = $280.00

I'd go for strakes and rotary accents if I had the money to burn.
