idling problem due knn typhoon intake

gdday bros

can anyone help me with the above mentioned?
i've had the typhoon for close to 4 months without any problem till 2 weeks ago.
my idling fluctuates a little at times.
if i put my gear to neutral and roll to a stop at the lights, sometimes the engine dies off but can be restarted immediately with no problem.

i've a delfi oil pressure gauge onboard and when i'm waiting at kerb side the oil pressure fluctuates a little too, moving a few units with no increase in throttle.

can anyone shed some light on this.
many thanks.

Have you tried cleaning your MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor)? It is in the rubber connector between the original airbox and the butterfly valve in the intake system. My idle was 'drifting' at times and while it never stalled, it was annoying. Removing the two screws (don't need to remove the wiring harness) which mount the unit into the rubber 'hose' (about 3 inches in diameter), slide it straight up, blast with carb cleaner then compressed air to clean it all out has worked great. But maybe I've just ruined the MAF and don't know it yet. Its been over a week and the idle has been stable since cleaning the MAF.

KN system/MAF

No question the MAF gets dirtier with the more direct airflow the KN provides. It's really no issue a few squirts of intake cleaner doesn't clear up right away. A good preventive measure is once every 5K.
