I went dealership in this morning

my 8 has vabrating when it stops so I took the car to dealership today. It was motor mount problem and I made appointment next tuesday.

When I went to mazda service department, I found some differences compared to Infiniti dealership. My previous car was G35 and I went infiniti dealership several times when it had a problem with the suspension.

I went 3 different infiniti dealerships and all had nice and comfortable customer waiting room, free snacks and coffee machine, tons of magazines. Also loaner's car was always available.

And I went to mazda dealership today. A small waiting room same size as my room (doesn't mean my room is big), no free snacks or coffee, vending machine was there but I only had credit card. No magazines, only mazda brochure. Also I asked loaner's car and they didn't have any. Overally, I felt Infiniti dealership had more luxurious atmosphere.

I guess car sales price = car + dealership service

That's weird, the two I've been to have had coffee, TV's, computers to surf the net, and things like that.

I guess it depends on the dealership

Waiting room in my Mazda dealership has coffee, tv, nice leather couches, vending machines, and little crackers and bagels to eat on some occasions. Don't know about the loaners.. Guess you entered a crap dealer.

I've been in 3 Mazda dealerships and two of them were nicely equipped. More on them in the appropriate threads

Reverse, you should be getting a questionnaire to fill out. Make a note of your disappointment with their waiting room.

I don't see how a car made by Mazda, and a dealership authorized to do Mazda warranty work have anything to do with the size of a waiting room found in said dealership.

depends on dealer ship.

But please do realize infinity is consider "luxury brand" where a nissan is their normal brand.

I don't give a damn what a waiting room looks like or offers. Spend the money on hiring competent technicians, and fix my car right. I'd much rather have my car run well than get a couple free cups of coffee or some crackers and sit my *** on a nice couch.

Loaner? Ya. I have to agree. Getting a loaner without going through too much grief is a nice thing.

You do realize you are comparing MAZDA to INFINITI Right?
Thats like Apples to Oranges.

Regardless, my Mazda dealer has free snacks, leather couches, tv, pool table, video games.
Depends on your dealer.

Yup! The place I used to take my Honda to did great work, and had a modest waiting room. Then they remodeled, with a very nice customer lounge, and the quality of work took a dive.

My Mazda dealer has a fairly dumpy waiting area, but it does have the survival necessities of TV, free coffee and wireless. Works really well, especially since they always get the car done right and within the time promised.

Wish my dealer had wireless... or coffee . Most of the time I consider myself lucky to find an unused page in their one crossword puzzle book. But the service is top notch, and their people are upfront, and that beats a PS3 any day .
