*I did not betray the silver, for color is subjective and subject to changing aesthetics and tastes, from year to year. I still love silver. I just have taken a keen fondness towards dark paint lately.

 

As has been pointed out many, many, many times on this forum, the RX-8 is not about speed; it's about grace and agility. And it looks most graceful and agile in Titanium Grey.

Black is certainly the best looking when cleaned and shined. But keeping it that way is nigh on impossible. My near-black BCM finish is getting coated with pollen even as I type.

My next car will be silver - it looks good even when not pristine.

My Mazda6 wagon is black. I will never ever want to get black... EVAR! Silver is great. Low maintenance. But given the chance all over again, I'd get white.
