I bought my 8 ~month ago and I've loved every minute of it. A few days ago my senior manager figured out that I had bought a new car. He told me that my car was his favorite one in the parking lot. He seemed genuinely impressed with my car along with everyone else at work. The secretaries keep asking to go for a ride in it. Too bad they're not 21 and hot instead of being in their mid-40's and "settled."

Anyway my senior manager came up to me today, out of the blue, and told me if I ever decide to sell my car, he wants to be the first to know about it. I told him $20k and a ride home and the car was his. A near by manager over heard the conversation and asked me what I paid for it. I told him $12k. (I have an 05) After saying what I paid my senior manager had a ponderous look on his face and then said "I can do twelve."

Now I think he wants to buy my car off me. I have no intension of selling it soon, but I guess its nice to know that my car is helping me make connections.

 

if you dont' sell it to him, he'll be pissed that one of his employees had the nerve to say, "No."

My last boss was going to have me find him an upgrade to his current car after I bought mine (before he was arrested and terminated anyway).

 

LOL Sad but true. Tell him 12,500. Explain it's only good business practice to make a profit.

 

Tell him 12.5k and a hot 21 y/o personal assistant (Female of course) or a generous raise, or both

 

if you have a good relationship with your boss, tell him he can pay you $5 a day to look at it from his office window and purposely park there.

WELL ITS TRYING TO but you're missing the point - you need to give the '40s and settled' secretaries a ride so thay can rave about it to their 'hot and twenties' daughters. Be generous!

 

That could work out very badly. "Really, $5 a day? So that works out to roughly $1,250 a year. Thanks for taking a pay cut!"

That was your mistake - letting SR know what you paid for it.

The only way to recoup now is to watch a few episodes of "Pawn Stars" and see how that guy explains to people that he has to make money on the deal. And he does it in a way that makes them sympathetic to his position.

I wasnt going to tell him what I paid for it. Another manager came up and asked what I paid for it. After I said $12k, I jokingly said "thanks Matt (manager), I just lost $8k."

 

It would have to be a very good raise. My last raise was a joke. <1%

Ya kidding? ****, women in their mid-30's and 40's are the best ***** you can get. Everyone wants the young hotties just because of looks, but the good sex comes when they hit their prime. I'm 38 and I've had chicks young as 17 and old as 46. I'll take 40 over 20 any damn day.

I would agree with you if these women were attractive. I'll stick with a hot chick that is mediocre in bed over a 40-something woman that will ride me like a stallion, but isnt attractive.

 

As long as you avoid an older unattractive woman who is bad in bed...

Though the exact opposite, a hot 20-something who is great in bed, generally has severe mental stability issues I have noticed.

Yeah, why is that, anyway? I mean, it has to be the greatest mystery of the universe. We can put people on the freaking moon but can't understand why hot chicks are insane. I bet we cure the common cold before we ever figure out women.
