I think I just got the first "full appreciation" of my car :)
:D
Well for the first time since I've had it, the weather here was perfect today (61 and the sun starting to peek out from rain since yesterday). I had to run some errands at lunch, not optimum conditions really- but it felt SO great to finally be in the car, without a big bulky dumbass coat on, with the sunroof and windows open, and the stereo up loud, oh yeah and after a week and a half feeling totally comfortable with my manual now :D
Anyway just a random appreciation post... I can't WAIT for summer!!!!
oh yeah, she is getting her first wash (since i've had her) tonight. And my stuff from autopia came in the mail too... i'm sure she's excited

Screw gas mileage
I know exactly what you mean...I was out running some errands at lunchtime, and it was gloomy and cold and overcast, but I was determined and put the windows down anyway, but on the last 15 minutes or so as I was driving back to work, the clouds parted and it became sunny and warm for me!
I got the car in October, so it's been cold pretty much the whole time I've had it...I can't WAIT for summer

Yellow on the 8 looks pretty good, take care of your baby!
I just came back from my vacation to Virginia and after driving around in a minivan & Nissan Sentra....
THANK GOD....and Mazda too, lol, for the RX8...and the sports car segment in general. I can not stand the floating nature of regular cars like minivans, trucks, and un sporty sadans. I missed my baby SOOO MUCH during this past week. The 8, unlike any car I have ever driven makes me feel out of place in any other drivers seat if it's not hers.
ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM....Thank you Mazda....thank you RX8 for making the driving experiance (no matter how common the drive) an emotional experiance that fills my day with joy.
We have a great car people...NO DOUBT!!!!

Yes - Bose. I read what people say about it and I just don't agree. With the treble, bass, balance and fade set just right, it sounds just way too sweet.

Almost better than sex.
Almost better than sex.
It Moved.
This is going to seriously complicate my other thread on sexuality.

1. The 8 is an automobile. An inanimate object not lending it self to male or female; therefore, no misinterpretation of sexual leanings.
2. We always refer to cars (and ships) as "she."
Either say, you are safe.
Ohhhh...ummmm...so do women refer to their cars as "he"? It not, we just might have an interesting sexualilty conversation.
:D

Just drove down to florida on saturday/sunday... Hit Florida about 6 am and by 10am the sun was shining, it was about 88 degrees, and my arm and the side of my face definately ended up sunbured. Well worth it....
