Hey guys
I went this weekend to give the deposit and the guy at the dealer told me that the titanium on the RX-8 is the same as the Dark Titanium Metallic on the Tribute. I went to look and it has goldish flakes to it. I think it looks pretty close, but I am not sure.
If it is I am soooooo glad I picked it

 

I saw one of those when I placed my order and I'm pretty sure that is much darker and less metallic looking than the RX-8's Titanium color. The 6's Steel Gray Metallic is little closer, but your best bet is to look for a 2002 Miata Special Edition in Titanium Gray Metallic. One of my neighbors drives one of these, and seeing it in person was a big factor in my color choice.

You can also keep a look out for the 2003 Shinsen version of the Miata. It also has the Titanium Grey M color on it.

There have already been many threads on this topic (search the message base). The Tribute and 6 do not share the Titanium Grey Metallic color -- both of these models have a much darker grey color. According to Mazda (as previously posted) the Miata SE color will be very close but a few minor differences.

 

if any of you made it to the Detroit auto show they had the cars there and the colors all look great...

I had originally ordered a blue one with black leather, then my dealer informed me that they are getting very few and that Mazda Canada is allocating to them the first shipment, so I have lifted my color restriciton because I like them all, so as long as it is a 6 MT with Leather I will be happy...
