I just hope Mazda does not give up on the rotary and brings out a cool car with more HP. The RX8 barely keeps up with the mazdaspeed 3 or 6. In some comparisons it actually lost. Thats sad.
Having said that, nothing equals the sound and feel of a rotary. If they built it I will come

I wouldnt put RX8 together with MS3 or MS6 because RX8 will be the only rx8, but there will be many more MS3's and MS6's. just like your Camaro.

I would have gone with the mustang too. Even the V6 is damn fast. running a 13.7 1/4 mile and it will still get 30+ mpg. And I would say the mustang hasnt got any handling, have you seen the times the boss 302 are putting down at tracks? Sure its a bit more expensive but its a mustang regardless.
I was actually just at ford the other day checking out one of the new GT's. It is a shame that mazda cant get anywhere with the rotary, but the fact is that its getting outdated. Mazda is a pain in the *** when it comes to warranty, as is most dealers. But the fact is a new mustang/comaro or anything else is not going to run into an engine problem like the rx will. I mean 90% of this forum are people crying about their warranty's and asking if there engine is going to blow up soon. Unless you drive the 8 like a grandma, you are in the mid to low teens for mpg, it requires a bit more maintenance than most other vehicles.
The fact of the matter is its quite easy to se why people would want to make a trade for something else. Im not bashing the rx8, I'm just stating its undeniable problems. As for me, I dont think i will ever get rid of my rx8, Once its paid off it will probably go into the garage and become a project car, and I will pick up something newer... such as a mustang. I adore my car right now. It just lacks.
