You will more than likely only get hit with the speed. The other ones were probably for just his stats. To get wreckless/careless driving you have to have 3 consecutive moving violations in one traffic stop. At least in Florida. If you have a good record the rest could get dropped. Dont worry as much as you are.

That makes sense. But it does vary from state to state. In Virginia, you can get reckless for a single violation. Qualifying violations include 20 mph over a posted speed limit (15 over in 65 mph zones) or changing more than one lane in a single motion.

When my daughter was a teenager I had to accompany her to Family Driving School. The instructor pointed out that a traffic officer in Virginia could have a successful career based on only learning to write tickets for reckless.

Ghadrack Hey! that used to be my avatar on my R6 forum i was on lol. good old tool. Anyway, i got pulled over for reckless driving and not sopping and i was on a bike permit. All that happened was that i lost the license for 3 months, big deal. They dropped the other charge though after i explained i could not hear the cop or see him because of my helmet and the fact that i was not looking in my mirrors, but that sucks to hear about your ticket. I hope the video game was worth it, you will have plenty of time to play it when you cant drive lol. But seriously i am sorry dude that sucks

Damn, we could get that all day. Good thing I don't live in Virginia. 15 over in a 65 is easy to do without noticing, especially in this car.. Move to Florida.

Which is all a good thing, because I just went to court last tuesday and while the paperwork was not ready again, the judge informed me that the State Trooper that pulled me over was fired for harassment...go figure huh? So he said for me to call for a case of dismisall and that I just hit the jack pot because today was my lucky day.

Well I filed for dismisall and the Judge and the D.A. approved of it after having to wait for an extra 2 hours..well worth it btw.

So anyways I'm scott free, but unfortunately I do have a court next week for street racing...but anyways the 5 counts of citiations are gone, thank goodness!!

You make me angry...I want to punch the guy next to me in my college class right now because I have no access to punching you. You are 23...you're putting others in harms way so you can play your g-- d---- video game...

You get off of those 5 counts by luck. God has graced you enough to let you learn your lesson. AND YOU GET IN TROUBLE FOR STREET RACING?!

Oh jesus you're lucky you don't have my mom. Even though you live on your own (hopefully...) You're mom should beat your *** up and down the sidewalk because of your stupid *** decisions. YOU GOT AWAY WITH FAILURE TO PULL OVER FOR A POLICE OFFICER!!! AND YOU GO STREET RACING! YOU ARROGANT, PIECE OF.....nothing but negative words come out at this point...I'm done...I cannot even express my anger right now.

I think my brain is about to fry right now...you just don't know what to say or think...

OP... I am hoping you dont get left off light for the street racing. obviously you didnt learn your lesson from the last pullover where 5 citations were given. if you are gonna race, keep it on the track and dont put others at risk. a wet spot, oil slick, blown tire, pothole, and many other variables could cause you to lose control of your car and kill someone else. we can only be lucky that you only kill yourself as it sounds like thats the path you are trying to go down..

Getting angry at someone on the Internet is like being happy while receiving **** from another guy (considering you're also a guy).

First of all BlackRX82006.. brother you needs some anger counseling or something. That is not a normal level of anger. Consider going out and running it off, or maybe even walking it off.

Second, you might have noticed the officer was dismissed for harassment. How do you know if those charges were not all made up?

Third, you don't know the entire story behind this guy. It is like me saying "omg I have to go to court tomorrow for some rape charge" you might think I'm a rapist. But consider, what if I am just attending court for jury duty? hmmmmmmmmm

street racing is a very specific charge and if he had jury duty he would have one of the following

being summoned to possibly be involved. If that is the case he wouldn't know what the case is about.

if hes already been on the jury for a period of time, everyone knows that it is against the law to talk about ongoing cases.

And if it was jury it would be for more than just a street racing charge. This fraction is against him, willing to bet my 8 on it. Whether the cop was fired for harassment or not, to be given 5 citations he did something VERY wrong. I know cops can be asses and such when it comes to be getting pulled over, but to warrant 5 citations, there is more to the story than he has told. And then to later or even before that ticket, getting a street racing ticket. From the latter or before, he didnt learn his lesson as in either case he is racing around at highspeeds in back to back instances. VERY dangerous individual to have on the roads behind the wheel of an 8.

I was making an example. I am not saying he is in for jury duty. He could be racing up and down fast & furious style every night, but what I'm saying is we don't know the full story to judge.

And for reference of bad cops, take a drive from Las Vegas up to Reno. It will enlighten you..

I make numerous trips to vegas actually. they are asses but still nothing like that. Flight from Lansing to LV via AllegiantAir. dirtcheap roundtrips, including the upcoming blackjack january special where flight out is only $21 bucks and $99 back if right 4 day trip is selected. now back on topic :P

we have asked for more info and he has failed to come back and fill us in. Maybe hes enjoying three well rounded meals at the local residence inn

Roller: There's enough facts to know this guy spends a fair amount of time doing stupid stuff on the road and endangering everyone around him. The video game reference is from another thread of his (iirc) where he got nailed by the cops - again with spotty info - for what sounded like driving like a d8ck b/c his focus was not on driving, but on playing his new video game!! Not someone who should be getting lucky w/the system. It's only a matter of time before he kills someone.

If being an *** were a bannable (? if that's a word?) offense the membership would dwindle severely. Sure, we'd lose plenty of members who wouldn't be missed, but there are plenty who contribute but aren't necessarily pleasant. Plus even more members (like me & apparently you) who are prone to blowing up on someone/something and being an *** in the process.
