Well I had the chance to get the new 2010 chevrolet camaro and I just had to do it! I was so tired of the constant issues I was having with the rx8. I just didnt trust it anymore. I loved that car and I was a bit sad to see it go. Thanks for all the help on this site!! It got me through a lot!! Good luck and keep ZOOM ZOOOOOMING!!!

the camaro is definitely a nice ride i have a 2ss myself handles pretty dam well too not an rx8 by any stretch but definitely can hold its ground ...

the only thing I would trade my RX8 in is the Lotus Elise SC, light weight is sooo great.

 

Since i put handling above all other things...(not saying the Lotus doesnt handle good cuz it most def does... i just wouldnt buy one) i would trade this car for only either the new RX or a Porsche Cayman S.

And yes, i said Cayman S over 911 Turbo. Mid mounted engines is where its at (plus i am no where near being able to spend 135k on a car..). I love the Cayman S and I guarantee i will own one someday soon.

 

so i know very little about the new camaros but i do have one question. is the 2lt with rs a v6 or v8?

edit: nm i just went onto chevys site and its a v6... meh

Yeh I mean I love the look of the rx8. I'm not dissin it at all. I had my share of problems with the rx8 for sure but I still love that car! I have never bought an American car until now. I like the look of the camaro. Def turns heads. Def has the power. And so far the handling is good. It's loaded with great features. I just needed some peace of mind and really liked this car. So yes I agree to each his own.

I passed you going the other way. I sold my '94 camaro with almost 300k (yes) to get my rx8. The rx8 is way more fun. But that camaro couldn't be stopped...I like your choice, and the color. Good work my friend. Phish is tomorrow!!!

 

I'm not the biggest camaro fan (would have gone with the new Mustang 5.0 ) But it really dissapoints me when people who claim to be so appreciative of cars just say all american cars are trash american muscle sucks... like what is that? can't you appreciate the car for what it is ? They look good and mean and they sure as hell make our 8's look slow... Great choice with the car like I said not my cup of tea but sure is a beautiful machine good luck and enjoy having no headaches for a awhile hopefully!
