I know that the old timers must get tired of these threads, but I felt I needed to post it.

I just picked it up today and for the first time ever, the 75 mile drive back home was a joy and went much too fast (maybe the last part was my fault).

It is a Velocity Red GT package with black/red leather, 6MT, 6 disc changer, appearance package, rear spoiler and rotary accent package.

This car kicks ***! After so many years of driving "practical" cars, I have finally been set free. Woohoo!

 

Congratulations, my friend. Someday soon I hope to join you in paradise.

I understand! Just drove mine off the lot last week after lurking here for months trying to make up my mind ... RX-8 or G-35 Sports Coupe. RX-8 Owners Club was a factor in making the choice.

Love my 8! Just have to keep finding places to go so that I can get through the break in period having been "good"

I've got 200 miles on mine, so I'm also looking for some trips to take for break-in.

I've been lurking there too (NW forum). Nothing close enough to me at this time. As far as I know, I have the first one in this small valley. I've seen 1 in Twin Falls which is about 75 miles from me. I'm sure Boise has a few, but I haven't seen anyone talking. When I can find something do-able, I am there!

 

I'm sure there are hookers in ID :D
