I like how you are mad at people in general when I would be kicking my dads *** for being so stupid. He has caused half of your accidents.

Maybe keep spike strips in your trunk then surround your car with them when you park it. That way if someone hits you they will have to stop and get out. Or they will fall off their bike. Stupid kids.

I hope you at least are getting some cool parts out of all of this.

Ok I was kicking my dad's *** around.... but now he isn't responsible for 3/5 of the times my car was damaged

Now I think I can be pissed at whoever I want... especially since I've never liked this little ******* before she hit my car anyway.

Nope thats the thing that sucks... since I have been in school and my dad has been paying for most of the repairs he has cheaped out. All my parts are OEM and my hood is still the same one that was fucked up... they just buffed it you can still see where it was scuffed.

I won't be getting anything cool out of this one either... my parents don't even wanna do anything more than paintless dent removal, even though I explained to them the whole fender will need to be repainted.

Get a shock alarm that has the piercing scream of the showering woman in Psycho. At least you'll have the satisfaction that the driver pissed a little.

Yes I thought I had the getting backed into problem fixed by parking miles away from anyone in a parking lot... apparently I'm not safe in my own driveway. Don't know how to fix that...

I'm glad I use a garage... I want to say there's no way anyone can back into my car there, but that'd just be tempting fate =\

Happened to me last week.......so I kinda feel your pain. But my attitude has been Meh so far. Ill touch up paint the "black" spekcles then buff it out and call it a day. not that im cheap or anything, just a few scuffs on a low-mid valued car is not that big of a deal. probably not even worht 12k anymore lol....

But its funny cause I remember the days getting Royally pissed about scuffing up my 500$ rx7...funny how priorities change over the years. I did pay for it and I do enjoy the hell out of it. but at the end of the day its still a car.

You have to understand though my car has been in and out of the body shop for the last 6 months... its getting very ridiculous.

Plus I work so hard to keep my car looking mint and then I have other people ruining it. This isnt something you can buff out these are 3 very large creased dents.

Sorry if I missed something but you seem to know who hit you. Is it just a matter of proving it? Have you faced her?

Kid needs to be taught a lesson some how. Someone purposely did damage to your property and they do anything about it?

Unless you parents are going to say something and get their friend to pay for it, what else can you do other than take the appropriate steps to get it resolved. To me, the 8 is not cheap to fix and I sure as hell wouldn't fit the bill if I knew who did it and had witnesses.

Hopefully you'll work something out but if you can't I would honestly get the police involved. Parent's friends will hopefully be grownups about it, but if they aren't then well, take what coming.

What kind of friends do your parents have? Did she offer to pay for the repairs? Wait! your Dad hit you twice, now a friend of the family hits you. I'd move out and far away, I think they're trying to tell you something.

F#ck your parents friends. If you know their kid did it then tell your parents "get it fixed RIGHT! or I am calling the police"

and everyone who rides me me always wonder why i park 200+ yards away from where i am going... ROFL.

People are stupid. just always keep that in mind. If they are not IN THE CAR WITH YOU, they are stupid. If you treat your car that way, drive that way, expect nothing less then you'll be just fine. that means everyone. I could be driving next to you... since i am not in your car, count me as stupid. there's just no better way to deal with variables beyond your control. Period.

I was hit TWICE within the first two weeks of buying my Acura TL a few years back. First, someone left two wide 8" scratches on my front bumper, then someone backed in to me which cracked the clear coat and left crack marks in the plastic where it was compressed against the metal underneath.

No notes, no witnesses, nothing.

I figured that I might as well leave the rear bumper as-is and touch up the front one. If I got them repainted, someone was bound to hit them again.

Want to hear a better story?

I used to own a Jetta and had it on a 3.5 year lease. I bought a Mazda6 and had 8 months left on the Jetta lease. I figured "hey, I can just pay off the Jetta lease and turn it in early." Well, in VW's *INFINITE* wisdom they will NOT take a lease back until you are within 60 days of the end of lease date.

I'm thinking, WTF? I'm paying you... take the damn car! But Noooo... completely moronic car company.

So I have to insure the Jetta for 6 more months and leave it parked outside my parents place.

On the first day I can turn it in, I have someone from VW inspect the car at my office and am going to turn it in the next day. Mind you, the car is PERFECT at this point. I leave work, meet a friend for a quick dinner, and am heading home when some old lady rear ends me!

Now I have to insure the car for ANOTHER month and deal with getting it fixed.

That's *MY* luck...

Tis jealousy

Woke up to mine covered in some weird chemical this morning, couldn't identify it, decided to wash it off, it became all cloudy and sticky and yellow. Spent 3 hours cleaning that crap off and waxing it. Was a bit hard to explain to my manager why I was 4 hours late to work..
