Woooohooooo!! Add another Winning Blue to the US roads. Had the opportunity to drive it for 150 miles today....and was it sweet. Loved the looks I was getting from other cars! :D I'll post pics in the other forum as soon as I take some.

The sales guy admitted that I knew more than him about the 8! hehehe Gotta thank the RX8 forums for that! The dealer was great. They even ordered a new pair of fender strakes cause the ones they had installed were crooked. So I had them mount it but didn't take the double tape out because the one of the lower strakes is not hugging the body. Will follow the DIY on installing in the DIY forum. So I already have a project for this weekend.. hehe Ok talking too fast, too excited..... gotta calm down. Maybe a spin in my 8 :D or maybe not :p

Thanks! How can you say such a thing!! What sacrilege! Cancel your RX8....flog him I say :p I'm telling you it was worth it. Hard part is getting used to the speedometer. I think it lies, I couldn't have been going at 90 mph. It felt like 60 mph....I tell you its lying!! :D

 

Yeah, I know. It's my sarcasm after waiting 3 months, 19 days and 5 hours!

I'm having problems already on my speedometer in my MX6, so more to come in my 8? :D

 

The cops will tell you it's not. :o Hehe. I was pulled-over for the first time in 18 years, that was about 1 month after getting mine. Just a warning though. Whew!

 

Yeah, and I couldn't use the cruise since I was trying to follow the break-in rules in the manual. Can I complain about mileage now since I own a 8? :D hehehehe I'm going to hide now.

 

Indeed, I've had a major problem with that just over one year ago! Better never have that again (loose of my driver's licence and possible seize of the car!). I'm so much more mature now........ SimplyBlue, please behave!

Ok so instead of enjoying driving around I was posting like crazy on the forums till 93rdcurrent bugged me about it that I couldn't take it Not that any arm twisting was needed :D Drove around town for an hour or so, and loved it. Love the car, love the engine and love the looks! Too bad its Wednesday night, wait till Friday :D hehehehe
