Hurray!!
Hurray!!
I got my 8 yesterday. 06 Phantom Blue Mica, AT with 19700 miles on it.
This is the first sports car I've ever owned and it's an experience. I love that WHIRRRRR sound when you first start the car.
Sadly I do already need to take it back for some work. Amazingly, I did not notice some front bumper cracks when examining the car. Hard to see them unless you stand a few feet away. It was the first thing my wife noticed when I drove into the driveway. I can't believe no one else at the car place noticed. Specially the guy who put the plate on...
But, it shall be fixed and all will be well. The starting will take some getting used to. It has those electronic start key things.
It has some after market things on it as well. Those little silver things behind the front wheel and red neon type light under the glove box that plugs into the 12v power. I may remove it though, it's distracting to me at night.
My first mod is to get the calipers painted blue to match the car....I hope I haven't just become a car nut, it would get me away from being a computer nut but they are equally expensive hobbies.
I have Zero complaints other than the front bumper.
I have one pic from this morning, I'll get more at some other date.

Someone maybe hit a sidewalk or the parking space concrete stop things or whatever the heck you call 'em, while parking the car .
I never pull up too far when parking because in most sports cars you'll damage your air dam or front lower bumper.
Either way....
Congrats and have fun!

luckily it's not a huge issue. It may have even been in area where the past owner mounted something because there are two little screws on either side of the crack. It really was hard to see unless you bent way down to look inside the air dam. Maybe he had some kind of air flow sensor or what not in there. (I really have no idea what im talking about)
Yeah Sioux Sioux!!!

I was ok with any color other than white or red.
I also found that the previous owner hooked up what I think is an Ipod hookup to the radio. There was a cord in the blove box that runs into the dash. Too bad I don't own an ipod (nor will I ever!)

The instructions on how to install it were still in the car and it looked mad complicated. If I could get it out or even get a normal head phone type jack in there instead I would do so.
