you get the best mileage at a balance of your highest torque point and lowest rpm point.

Seriously you should drive the **** out of this car. But be atleast 1 step ahead of maintenance or you will regret it. But it's so easy, easy as a piston engine, but just in different ways. This is why I bought this car, since it's so unique compared to everything else on the road.
