How often do you see 8's on the road?
I know that when I bought my RX-8 I loved the fact that you never see them. Compared to Nissan 350Z's and Infiniti G35 coupes, RX8's are extremely rare. I loved this. But, the other day I was driving down the road and saw 2 RX8's within 30 seconds of each other. I thought that I was going to have a heart attack! I was shocked to see not one, but two RX8's at the same time. How often do you see other 8's on the road?

About half ago...very RARELY, but since then, I'm usually able to spot at least three in a week. Usually, it's a female owner with an automatic, who probably thinks has a V6 or something.

There are 3 other 8s in the town I go to school. One lives in my apartment complex. Even still I dont ever really see them on the road in town or anywhere else I go.

Wowsers, not sure where you guys live, but I see at least 4-5 8's in a single day down here in Louisiana... now I might see an SVT foc a couple times a week.

There's quite a few here in Waco, suprisingly. I see at least one every other day or so. This is probably because I work and live in a small area which is the busiest part of town. I see the same Winning Blue and Black ones on a regular basis and I see a bunch of Titanium Greys! I don't see many other Whitewater Pearls like I have.

I happen to be a female "8" owner with a manual--there are some of us out here that can apprecitate a true sports car! We all don't believe we have a "V6 or something..." Let's not be too sexist!

I think I've only seen two in my town since I got mine in June '05. One parked on the other side of town and the other I think came off the highway and was going into town one morning. I don't know how many have been sold in the area but it would be interesting to know.

Here in Tallahassee, I personally have only ever seen one black 8 (auto, female driver) and a velocity red . A friend said he has seen a white 8 in town. So, when I take my velocity red out it always get the looks because there just aren't many of them here.

I normally see like 2 a week and I know of at least 6 that live here in town, but the other day I saw almost 6 in one day, my town is only about 45000 ppl so that's a lot, I do see many more 350Zs though, I can go out and pretty much guarantee you I'll see one.
I visited the showroom and there was one that had been traded in because a granny bought it (it was a silver manual shift) and her daughter forbade her to drive her kids around in a sports car... so she got a mazdaspeed 6 instead. Power to the women who think that way!!!!
and around here it seems like either young men (up to 30) or 40- or 50-something women own them.

I've only seen two.
A silver that needed a wash.
And yesterday, I saw a red with MS kit flying up Padua in Claremont. I'm pretty sure they were heading up to Mt Baldy to hit some twisties.
