I have my 2009 Titanium Grey R3, dealer told me around 780 R3s sold in the UK, and only a handful of Titaniums..

I spent 2 months looking for a good low mileage dealer approved car.... and I wouldnt swap for the world

Did you paint your side view mirrors black?
What did you do with the R3 rims?

My setup is staggered... 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. The side mirrors are wrapped with 3M CF vinyl. I ended up selling the R3 rims/tires to make room in my garage.

I hate to bring up a old thread but benben01 what is your suspension setup? I would love for my r3 to sit exactly like that.

I had my R3 on coilovers. I want to say the drop was less than 2 inches. I measured the clearance from the side skirts to the ground was a tab bit over 4 inches.

Here in Canada in Toronto (GTA) I see them regularly. I have a used 2009 VR R3 but really wanted the white which I see the least. I know of at least a half a dozen in our local group.
Here's a few for sale locally:
Used R3

I purchased the car in Michigan, flew in from Massachusetts and drove home because that was the closest blue one for sale in the country. First time I drive a stick for more than a few minutes. So you can guess which color is the best :D

Totaled the R3 the Friday before New Year's Eve. Cold tires, questionable surface (sand) and driver error (being a bit tired) lead to the crash... Fortunately no one else was involved.

^^**** man thats a shitty deal on what happened to your 8! Did you at least strip it down and keep the seats? Or was it completely totalled? What rims were those on your 8?

Megan Racing street series 32-way adjustable. I don't track my car so Megan coils were just fine.

I was able to get my Recaros out of the R3 and installed them in my 09 GT. The rims on the R3 are Volk G2 Type2 but one of the rims got twisted. Since the G2 is discontinued, I had to scratch my plan of refinishing them for the new car. Instead, I was able to pick up a set of staggered fitment Advan RZ in 19s. The GT will be running the same BBK setup I recovered from the R3 and a new set of coils from PowerTrix. Later this Spring, i will be ordering the color matching R3 bumper and side skirts from Japan Parts Online.

**** thats a ruff deal you gotta start all over modifying you ride! Ya those volks are sick I might have to check out what I can get similar to those from Volks website. Also I want to lower my car abit and need to get some coilovers I like your ride how it sits and wheel set up looks super agressive!

It's not so bad to start over. I already have all the parts minus the R3 bumper and side skirts which I still need to order. Otherwise, the second go around shouldn't take more than a weekend or two. As for the wheels, if you want a good stance and flush look, try the following specs:

F: 19x8.5 or 9 +35
R: 19x10 or 10.5 +35 or 40

Depending on the tire, you may or may not have to trim a bit of the plastic liner in the rear. I ran 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear. I wouldn't advise you to go any wider than that.

Reviving an old thread.. was wondering if we could get a list of R3's world wide and what color they were. For example.. how many 09 Aurora Blues and Titanium Greys were made.. I'm curious as to world wide what kind of R3 color selections there were.. like in Canada.. we know white ones exist.. and in Europe they have silver and grey.
