How long would you guess for sun visor replacement?

Brought my car in Friday to the dealer for new visor.

It's now Thursday and still not done.

And Mazda wonders why their customer service ratings are freaking abysmal

Why would you leave your car at the dealership for a visor replacement?
Bring it in, let them see what you need and then take it home.
They'll call you when it comes in.

why didn't they just order the visor and then call you when it came in? I'm getting mine fixed tomorrow morning before work- they said to just come by when I could and it'd take about 20 minutes to install the new one...

When I got my oil changed last week a Miata was getting a replacement. The parts and accessories guy went out to her car and installed it and was back within 10 minutes.

Is your car sitting and waiting because they don't have a visor available?

Mine also had an electrical problem from the wires to the lighted vanity mirror shorting out. That's why I had to leave it. The delay, however, has nothing to do with the electrical problem, they told me, but rather a backup in getting the visor.

Luckily, I have a third car so it's not THAT big of a deal. But I'd certainly rather be driving my '06 RX8 than my 1995 Chevy Tahoe.

when you get the new one fold it down all the way and crack it in the parking lot before you drive out.

My dealership replace two tailights and a visor in 30 minutes. Exactly 30 min! (Hiley Mazda)

I told them I didn't have to fart around, and they got right on it.

They have replaced mine twice in less than 30 minutes. I also got my radiator replaced under warranty in less than 3 days.

My dealership rocks!

Stupid question but I gotta ask as to prepare myself. So far my dealer has been 50/50 on good/bad service so I'm curious on this.
I own a 04' model used, I've had her for about 3 months now, will I have to pay for the broken visor or am I covered by the bumber to bumber warrenty. That and my damn headlights have some odd film on the inside /sigh.

One day Im gonna track down the previous owner and pwn him hardcore for all the stuff he didnt do for this car.

Any progress on getting your visor replaced? I'm waiting for them to get my visor in. They were ordering it Monday and said if it was in stock it would be in by the end of the week so I could get mine replaced on Saturday, then. I don't know if it ended up being in stock or not. I didn't have time to wait around on hold to find out. It sucks that it took out your radio and everything, though. Fortunately the only thing wrong with mine is that it broke.

Mine broke friday night on the way to dinner, called a dealer 20 minutes away that is open on sat. Dropped it off sat morning, picked it up that afternoon with the visor replaced and headlight aim fixed no questions asked.
