Hindsight RX-7 vs Rx-8 which is or was the better Car?

see, this is what im confused about. I NEVER claimed the rx7 was better at ANYTHING but STRICTLY performance. the rx7 is a purpose built sports car. no frills....just plain 'ol go like stink, stick to the pavement fun. your claims of the rx8 being a better PERFORMER, and track car, are down right ridiculous? and it makes me question any of your other statements.
Going fast isn't all that matters.

Strangely, though, he did re-iterate what I've been trying to say the whole time. The RX-7 is a great car. I'd take one in a heartbeat. But I'm not convinced it's "better" than an 8.

Wow - this thing went downhill fast....
Kinda reminds me of one of my buddies who owns a Ducati. He is always saying how fast his bike is (duh); so I tell him my 8 could take his bike if I pick the track; uniform and time of year.... Rocky Mountain 100 mile run in shorts and a t-shirt in January... my car will take his bike...

Aw jeez, you're right. Our cars suck so bad. How foolish of us for buying them, we were so wrong.

If you re-read my posts, I didn't say your cars "suck", which is exactly why I am becoming frustrated with your attitude. Bring up one single time I wrote "suck", and prove me wrong. I merely give you facts as well as other people's opinions, and BAM, you go on some tangent saying I said your car sucks.

Chiming in again since this convo has gotten crazy...
I onwned a '94 FD with a Greddy single turbo conversion and street-ported engine that put out very close to 400WHP.
I bought it in that condition and did my best to maintain it...granted I knew very little about cars at the time because I was only 20 at the time.
Let me put it this way...I never EVER lost a street race...I live in LA and have had the pleasure of beating Porshes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Corvettes...
I raced a motorcycle and hit 160mph before he chickened out (please no flames I know it's stupid on public roads and I don't do it anymore).
Do that with an RX-8!!
