it i not coming from inside. It is comming from the center of the engine, near the alternator (silver motor).

 

Mine makes a similar electronic whine type sound, but I just chalked it up to either the electronic PS or some other electrical device...

Either way, I doubt it's anything to worry about, but I could be wrong...

 

Also, i purchased a FM transmitter for my USB mp3 drive. Works great, but it does pick up the whine. Its funny because it makes is sound like a turbo when accelerating, but only on the radio lol.

Im going to post this device over in audio because It works well, and is only 20bucks form target.

 

How do you turn the vents off?
