Smile Hi from Portugal

Hello guys
So, i`m a very proud owner of an Rx8, for almost 3 weeks now, and i simply l-o-v-e it, i "followed" it for several years always thinking that one day.....
Now i finally got it, i`ll be honest, sometimes i still cant believe it, and i`m feeling like a little boy with a new toy, i go to my garage to check this or that...really excited. I`ve always been a guy that love cars and bikes and like to drive them fast....but....at the same time everytime i get something new i spend a couple of months taking it easy, just knowing the car i guess, i`m loving it so far. Still had no chance to get max speed, i had a lot of trafic lately, still i managed to get 217 kmh in 5th, no 6th gear yet cause i had to brake several times. Just one little thing i`m noticing, from 160 /170 kmh i feel a bit of vibration in the front of the car, not sure if it`s the front wheels, does anybody feel the same ? just curious about it. Just to finish the post, i have bought some fender strakes and here`s a couple of pics. Thanks for reading and good luck to all. I`m out for the weekend, cant wait to drive it again

These are really nice cars.
I know how you feel too because I like to easy into any hardcore driving by feeling out the car over time and driving it like a "granny" then I'll head out to my favorite twisties and have some fun when I have a feel for the car.

But I'm not one to push it to the limit however.
Them dayz is behind me.

Nice, had to show the wife, her dads from Sao Jorge Island apart of the Azores. Personally I dont own any, I just rebuild the motors all day and drive the companies test car occasionally. I spent friday building 14 engines so I kinda get tired of seeing the engine all day and need to drive something else home lol. Drive safe, wonder what the speeding laws are like out there, personally I haven't driven fast in a long time, stupid teenage years and managed 147mph in my z32 but never again.

Hi, never been at Açores but i know it`s beautiful islands with breathaway views, say "Olá, bom dia" to your wife from me. Speeding laws: Freeway - 120 km/h, but sometimes if it`s safe i just hammer the throttle, just have to keep an eye on bridges and anything "suspicious", the police uses several ways to nail us. I think you have a really nice job mate.Cheers
