Hey guys!

Thought I'd join this site since I recently just got an Rx8.

Got it for my 16th birthday. I'm insanely lucky to have such a nice car for a first car. I hope i'll be able to drive it okay, never driven a stick before. But my dad is quite good at teaching.

It's an 06, 6speed. with 20k miles.

Here is some pics.

Many congrats to you, sir.

Appreciate the car, and it will appreciate you.

And by the way, take advantage of the invaluable teachings that come from your dad, regarding how to drive a true manual properly.

Good luck!

Nice first car. I like the red/black interior. My first car was a piece of sh*t.

I had a bicycle when I was 16, but I was happy.

Congrats man

I just got my 8 about 2 months ago and I have two pieces of advice... 1. Read your owners manual! Every word, from cover to cover. You would be surprised how many questions that you will have are answered right in there... 2. Just about everything that you are going to need to know (that isn't in the manual) has been posted on this forum at one point or another. Take advantage of it...

The 6-speed may take a little getting used to at first, but before long you won't even have to think about it.

That is a great looking car. You are gonna love it!...

thats what the parking brake is for. or you could put the car in reverse to try to get them to back up. I don't know where you live but in the state of texas if you roll back into them, its their fault since they rear ended you.
