ACRX8

I just came back from the Mazda dealer to order my RX-8. They told me the Mazda 6 Steel Grey is the same color as the Tit Grey for the RX-8. The Steel Grey on the Mazda 6 is very dark and does not look like any of the pictures of the Tit Grey on this site.

Does anyone know if they are the same or if the pictures on this site are the actual tit color??

In Detroit Mazda had a "Titanium Gray Metallic" RX-8 -- also on display was a "Dark Titanium Metallic" Tribute these were not the same color! The Tribute was much darker-- I think some of the confusion is coming from the similarity in color names. The Dark Titanium is much closer to the Steel Gray Mazda 6. The Titanium RX-8 is lighter than these two colors.

I am 99% sure the mazda 6 color, and the Rx8 colors are different. I won't be sure until they get my mazda account reset (the dealership i work at just changed names, they have to re-enter us in the system). As soon as they do that I can look up the paint code on the titanium for the rx8. I do know the paint code for the dark steel on the mazda 6 is 26x. As soon as they get us back online, i'll post the paint code for the rx8.
