HELP, Engine having hard time to start.
Hello
I flooded my engine before. Now, my engine is having hard time to start. When I crank, it takes about 3~5 cranks to start. so it's about 3seconds to 5seconds. It's 2004, I have about 5.8k Km on it. I searched the forum but I can't find what to do. What I got was Change the spark plugs, change the coils, change the spark plug wire. I also saw a person saying get Mazsport ignition solution. Also my dealer told me that it's my old starter problem, so I need a starter that runs faster. What should I do with my car??? Please help me |
If you don't already have your TSB's and recalls done for the better starter and firmware upgrades and loss-of-power carbon cleanout, get your ass to the dealership and get them done.
Go find the TSB list (search damnit) and highlight anything you think applied to you. |
yeah just print out the TSB list and go to the dealer and say this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this applies to me and reminde them that there will b no charge and you want contacted before you are even charged one penny
|
Pour gasoline on the car and take advantage of gap insurance.

it sounds like you need the new starter...you had the same thing i did before it was replaced...
check your battery to be sure its still good... standard plugs and coils tests... but its prolly the starter... |
check plugs and coils for sure.
