headroom in 2009 R3?

Has anyone sat in one yet that can comment on if there is any extra headroom because of the Recaros? The 8's one Achilles' heal that might stop me from getting this car is the headroom. I want to track the car some and that means I'll need a helmet. I've test driven an 08 GT with the moonroof and it was a little tight on headroom (I'm only 5'11). I don't want to have to tilt the seat back too much to make things work...

So anyway, I'm hoping the R3 might have some extra headroom from the Recaros... anyone know?

P.S. I know the website doesn't list it as different, but I'm hoping the real world experience might prove different...

Eliminating the sliding roof will give you a couple of inches.

Ya, but I'm hoping for a little extra from the recaros. Anyone? A local dealer just got one yesterday but I don't have time to get out there right now because it's 15 miles away.
