Smile head lights

hey how you guys doing. still new to the forum and did a search for h.i.d or hid and nothing came up soo hopefully im here posting in the right CAT. well not sure if its just mee but the lights look aful on the 8 the yellowish hid seems like they are project hologens. but to get to the point. what is the bulb to get? i mean to have optimal clarity. i have always been use to the 6000k look but then again this is the first time with projectors and so forth. what are the bulb size? is it just a plug an play system? should i have to be worried about warrenty and so forth. thanks alot for the help.

Something's up. Mine look bright white with a tinge of blue. Not a hint of yellow. The clarity is great, with a sharp, slightly stepped cutoff.

Try this for all the bulbs on the car.https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/2004-mazda-rx-8-bulb-code-list-25466/

Are you sure your car has the HIDs? Mine are bright white. What package do you have?

yeah mine are super blue/purple for first 15-20 seocnds and then they go almost white. Stock hids are 4300K IIRC which are the brightest. the higher you got the more blue/purple you get but the less effective they are ( not as bright ) as headlights.

must be the film buildup in your headlights that people have been talking about?
